Kais is a Yemeni documentary filmmaker, fixer, and guide from Sana'a. He has worked on several films that take an inside look into Yemen during and after the Arab Spring and was the main subject of a 2012 documentary film called "The Reluctant Revolutionary".

Kais has been coordinating trips in Yemen for the past twenty years, including various tours, journalism projects, and more throughout all regions of the country. Kais has a wealth of knowledge about his home country and tons of connections. He currently resides in Sana'a and travels regularly to the Hadhramaut and Al Mahrah regions due to their stability in these trying times. He runs charitable projects throughout Yemen, especially geared at supporting women and families in Sana'a and has a keen interest in social entrepreneurship and filmmaking.
